At the Police Station

This firm operates a 24-hour a day, 7 day a week system covering the Police Station.

If you are arrested, day or night, you have the right to a solicitor free of charge. If you are arrested and ask for Great Western Solicitors, the Police will contact the representative on call and you will be able to speak with them on the telephone. If necessary, they will attend the police station. This is an important right and it is to your benefit that you use it – even if you consider it a simple matter. Simple matters can become complicated.

We are often shocked that people attending the police station have told the police that they don’t need a solicitor because they are totally innocent of the offence alleged against them. Whether you believe you are guilty or innocent of an offence it is always important, and a fundamental right, that you have a legal advisor to help you.
